Blogging Survey
Inspired by Miss Water’s post, I decided to write a blogging survey! If you have a blog, answer all the questions. If you don’t have a blog bust still want to take the survey, answer all the questions on page 2. Hope you enjoy my survey!

Heya Haley.
Thanks for entering the survey as one entry for the competition. Hope you don’t mind but I really loved the idea of yours and Sophies surveys – so I have posted about them on The Edublogger and asked people to get their students to complete.
I’m looking forward to the Photostory also!

Hi Hayley, surveys are really hard to write, so if this is your first go, that’s amazing! Thanks for letting others have a go at the survey (oh yes… I love Survey Monkey too!)
I will give some feedback about how I found your survey so that you can hear what it was like for a complete stranger to take the survey.
I found some questions a bit puzzling (e.g. question 2 in part 2 asks “what would you find not too distracting?”) this is a double negative, so I continually had to think… “is this asking me if it is distracting or not?”.
Question 3 has two aspects to the question, so it’s hard to answer with a yes or no, when you might think differently about each part of the question.
I think that having a “don’t know” option in part 1 might have been a good idea too as not everyone knows what a Voki is (like me for example) so the answer I wanted to give was “don’t know” I had to chose yes or no and that was not really my answer. I am an older blogger.
I hope this feedback helps… I have to develop a survey soon too and I will ask some friends to do the survey before I use it, so that I can try to get it as clear as possible.
Cheers and happy surveying! Anita

[...] Hayley and Sophie have both created different blogging surveys for students to complete. I’m looking forward to their analysis of the responses (as others probably are). Obviously the more responses the better — so could you please ask your students to drop past and complete their surveys? [...]
